Best player on the park tonight, what a player made us look so different and so dangerous going forward.
He is going to be some player for us.
Love to sign him enjoy him whilst he is here top quality.

Special mention Joe Morrell a very very good player.

Monster difference between Nikki and Frankie no contest I’m afraid.

Very impressed with Palmer and Morell in this game. Sign KP, and Kalas now and we're well set.

    Desilva-Kalas-Palmer that would be fantastic

personally think Kalas and Palmer will go elsewhere on bigger money, but these guys are quality.

With the rules about a maximum of 8 players on loan next season there may be a "fire sale" at Chelsea - we need to get in there

So good to see positive player reviews but it begs my question as to why these talented players rarely stick at Ashton Gate. When I look back over the years and remember how many future stars graced our neighbourhood for only a short while and now the likes of Bolasie are being told they are surplus to requirements at their present clubs. Is it all about the stupid money or are we just not a fashionable enough club for these players?

You said there was no contest in our goalkeeping department RR but who is your first pick? Anyway we will be in the hat for the next round and apart from a disappointing crowd well done to all.

I thought that was your intent and although Frank has served us well we needed another shot stopper in house. Welcome Nicky.

Agree Nikki looks much more solid at the moment, however It’s Franks second game back after recovering from Meningitis ffs , he’s doing really well to even be playing , sometimes RR you r a c*ck.

Com on his kicking and distribution last night was shocking.

I don’t disagree, just saying he was seriously ill, only his second game back, a completely new defence , far too early to judge.
Personally I think he’s done really well to even be in contention yet, to be honest but for Nikki being unavailable he wouldn’t be. Cut him some slack he’s going to take time to get up to speed.

Palmer certainly looks good. Makes you wonder why he hardly got a look-in in a bang-average Blackburn side.......

played out off position, Dack plays in Palmer's favoured position.

Often the way, he seems to be a good fit for us , Kent on the other hand didn’t suit us at all last season . Right player at the right time kind of scenario.

I think the criticism aimed at Frankie is more than harsh RR, his distribution and kicking ability has always been poor, that’s no secret but he has always beeen (for us at least) a very good shot stopper. As others have said he’s just back from a very serious illness, give the guy a break. You’re the first one to cite Matty’s Taylors injury record when people are having a pop at him, extend the same courtesy to Frankie, he’s served us pretty well, better than MT who you tug it to on a regular basis.
