London seems lovely. I was struggling over where to go for my summer holiday this year but London narrowly won out over Kabul.
London does indeed seem lovely, an image easily ruined once you get here. If you can turn a blind eye to the Romanian beggars, homeless sleeping in tents on the streets, moped gangs, and a general feeling of it all being rather stabby you should have a great time. Stick to the tourist spots, don't have any cash on you that you are not prepared to lose, have mugged or pickpocketed off you, wear no jewellery or watches, if you are accompanying a lady tell her to leave the handbag at home, don't use your mobile phone on the street, try not to make any sort of eye contact with people on the buses or the tube, darkies WILL stab you so don't think they are joking. Other than that I hope you have a fantastic trip!
