Now I have read that he is not getting any game time there....it's not what we want for him. So he is being recalled so he can be sent to a team that will play him ( MK Dons is touted). Makes you wonder if he is so low down the pecking order at Pompey will he ever be good enough to play in a championship team.. Counter argument is that he has been injured and is only just coming back to full strength. Mind you his age ( 27 I think) is against him Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
That should be a great loan for him. Good fit, Accrington is an attacking well playing side. Both the Wheeler and the Smyth loan looks like good decisions by the club and players.
This is on the BBC gossip page "Southampton striker Charlie Austin will leave the club this month with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa interested in the 29-year-old Englishman. (Telegraph)".....with Sylla leaving, and two youngsters going out on loan, would we benefit from chasing after Charlie and getting him back in a hooped shirt?
I can't believe that Villa are listed as being interested what with having 3 or 4 £10m strikers in their squad, plus they can't afford him either as they are really up to FFP limits and probably beyond......
Not really a signing but i'd be happy with this https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr...es-played-under/amp?__twitter_impression=true
I'm not going to read anything into that and by that I mean I will be desperately reading it as Charlie is 100% on his way back
But how. ...and why. We cannot afford his wages as a loan We cannot sign him this window under an embargo. I think the answer is just no Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
