So apparently after my last one went well I'm supposed to keep doing them so here we go for the cup again: F.A. Cup Round 4 NUFC vs Watford @ St James' Park Saturday 26th January. Kick off: 15.00 Ref: David Coote, Assistants: Dan Cook and Harry Leonard, 4th Off: Darren Bond. VAR will be in use for the game and Martin Atkinson will be behind the screen. NUFC Squad News: Karl Darlow, Paul Dummett, Mo Diame, Jonjo Shelvey, Ki Sung Yueng and Kenedy all missed the win over Cardiff with injury, while Federico Fernandez was ruled out with illness. Ki is back in training Seen reports today that all but Diame were spotted training today although Dummett and Ki only did gym work but the rest have been outside training - http://www.nufcblog.co.uk/2019/01/2...ing-1-absent-but-3-back-sooner-than-expected/ I'd go out on a limb and say with a fair few coming back we will see a stronger team than played against Blackburn in the previous round but still retaining some of the younger players. Woodman, Sterry, Roberts and Longstaff all look to be included. Possibly a place in the squad for Jordan Lukaku if he's in by there but I've not included him in my predicted line up Predicted Line Up: Woodman, Sterry, Fernandez, Clark, Manquillo, Shelvey, Longstaff, Roberts, Kenedy, Ritchie, Joselu Bench: Dubruvka/Darlow, Yedlin, Schar, Hayden, Atsu, Perez, Rondon
Could this be our year? Will be interesting to see what sort of team we put out. Can't see us getting much on Tuesday even if we sign another 4 players before then so why not go with the strongest team in the Cup game and throw a few youngsters in against City.
If ever a match day thread deserves a 3-1 win to the lads this one does. I'm going out to buy a hat so I can doff it.
After reaching the dizzy heights of round 4 I think we had better get our Wembley tickets sorted quick because if we reach round 5 the fans will be in a frenzy,
