Up in Scotland it was usually Semolina, Tapioca or sponge pudding with custard. School meals in our day were awful when you see what choice they get these days. Still on that diet, we didn't go out and knife everyone in sight so it might have been horrible and unhealthy but ultimately not that unhealthy, well for other people anyway.
Lumpy custard, now that definitely takes me back to our schooldays That and scooped tatties with ****ing lumps in it.
I think I would throw up if I was ever forced to eat that again. I don't know why they don't use it in torture technique. It would beat waterboarding any day of the week.
