Has anyone ever tried this? I have always been meaning to have it sometime but just never got round to it, I love my seafood but when I'm out fine dining at a seafood restaurant I usually plump for the Kids Menu and have chicken goujons. Can anyone advise if the lobster thermostat is good and what temperature should it be served at? please log in to view this image
Much to my amazement, and I am sure to yours, I've never had lobster. I aim to rectify this on my next visit to Las Vegas where I seem to remember it being abundantly available. Last time I was there I tried snow crab and king crab, neither of which I could see what all the fuss was about or why fishermen risked their lives off the coast of Alaska to get hold of. Tasted no different to those fake crab sticks you get at the seaside. I've heard you need to wear a bib and smash the claws to bits with a hammer when eating lobster, I'd much rather it just turn up already done to be honest. Have I been missing out or is lobster just a bit meh?
I love lobster but then I love most sea food. Squid, crab, langostine (locally caught), shrimps, mussels, whelks, even cockles. Yum yum.
Never tried caviar either but it looks rank. Always reminded of Big starring Tom Hanks when I think of it please log in to view this image
