Aguero dinit talk daft man I want Salah, no being serious Gayle from WBA, But Moore would be excellent and I would pay £3m for him.
Gayle? you have already stated and been mocked by the fact that gayle is a Newcastle player on loan at West brom who are currently pushing for promotion to the Premier league.
We took Baldwin off Peterborough mate, he was their club captain and they were tipped for promotion. Money talks mate, everybody is skint in this league. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
Very true, but we’re hagling over one mill for Griggs too so can’t see it. Don’t get me wrong would be over the moon if we somehow pulled that off.
Even £2m in this league is a lot. Barnsley don't have much money I don't think either so there may be legs yet.
They're owned by a consortium who's overall wealth has been estimated at about £15billion. That, of course, could be complete bollocks but the major shareholder also owns Nice (as in where Ballotelli and Ben Arfa were for a while not the software company) so he's probably got a few quid. Edit: just found another source that says the consortium is worth 6.9billion. Obviously that probably includes their private wealth and doesn't necessarily indicate how much Barnsley have to spend but it certainly suggests that they can afford to hold out for more than 2 million.
Tom eaves from Gillingham would be worth a look imo. 6"5, 27 years old 14 goals in 22 appearances for Gillingham so far this season and 4 assists
Our hands are tied somewhat while we pay Cattermole, McGeady, Oveido and Matthews their bit. They'll be on more than the rest put together.
I stand corrected however one of the lads I went to uni with was kicking off about their lack of funds this window after they sold one of their better players as they needed the money! Even if they did need it, it'd be suicide to sell him to a promotion rival.
The club themselves might be potless so you might be right that they have no money. There's plenty of billionaire owners who don't seem to spend like Abramovich (I won't mention Man City cos that's a different kettle of fish). Stoke and Southampton for example. I suppose us under Short too. I was just jumping to conclusions really based on the owners' wealth.
Worth? Could be all tied up in assets and running the club strictly to ffp protocol. They haven't been spending like they've got disposable cash. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
Bristol City now showing an interest and Barnsley has slapped a £4m price tag on him so that's us out of the running.
