We somehow pulled off a result against Fulham on Sunday, but the performance was pretty poor, and they will feel aggrieved not to have got something out of the game. Here we are again, except against a better side. The score line is deserved, and expected. We have no rhythm and look disjointed. Imo there’s a massive gap in terms of quality between the “top” players, and the more fringe/squad types. There’s so few genuine goal scorers in the remaining players we have available, and a general lack of genuine footballing quality. It’s a big concern not just in this game, but going forward through February unless we seriously address this in the next 7 days. Poch has worked miracles, but I think he’s gonna struggle through this one.

Sissoko has been the best of the bunch so far. Llorente poor with no service for his limited abilities to work off. Eriksen and Lamela need to up their games big time. Both have gone missing in a big game again and are our key creative influences out there. Lucas is the only real option but after a 2/3 week lay off its asking a lot...
