Not surprised in the slightest. Thought this would be the case tonight. What can we expect when so many of our top players over the last few seasons aren’t in this starting 11? It won’t just be tonight, this is gonna be a horrendous period for us. We may have a fairly big squad, but the quality of the fringe players is lacking and never offers us anything.

2-0 HT. Abject. Didn't create a thing. We haven't put any balls into the box for Llorente at all and he's been completely useless as a result. I really can't see any way back into this one, so Pochettino will really have earned his money if he gets us back into it.
Is it really lunacy though? We haven’t won anything and we all knew in the summer that the squad needed strengthening. And if the players don’t win anything, is it not likely that players may want to look elsewhere in the summer?
