Its never easy to do it mate. What LFc are doing in the same scenario and what City are doing are varying in tactics but the intent is the same. Find space in wide areas and turn sides. LFc do that with full backs. City do it with sterling and sane/mahrez staying wide. Its not easy. for me the absolutely key zone is central midfield where spurs have only what thye have. I think winks will play again and last game it was eriksen and dier came on. If spurs hold a 2 there then If eriksen is one of those two thats where the game will be won and lost. Cheslea must flood that area and get possession and attack that spurs back 4.
Thats the thing, we dont attack the back 4 and none of our cms doing that (only loftus cheek). Then hazard wants to play in that area too and willian. We end up with no width (alonso amd dave cant take a man on and have to pass it back). All you have to do is double up or triple up on hazard and just hold willian up. We dont attack with speed. Also just give hazard a tug back if you light at the back and you can reset as you will stop him dribbling We lack runners and energy and physicality and have in a long time tbh.
I thought you looked really good at the start of the season, but a lot shakier now. That in itself seems to indicate that the managerial honeymoon is over. Imo, Sarri needs to start banging heads together in the dressing room rather than putting people down in public.
Probably more to do with the teams that are in it. Man City v Burton was a joke fixture, zero interest as the outcome was more predictable than a RHC response! And who likes Spurs or Chelsea ffs
I've got a lot of personal stuff going on in the evenings atm, but if I get the chance I'll definitely watch it - it's just that I don't care enough to talk about it much on here.
As I said above, I will watch the games but I don't feel a pressing need to discuss them in advance. After the game I might have an opinion on what has happened, but beforehand? Not my teams so what's to discuss or get excited about? Apart from a general interest in football, I don't care about other teams unless we're in direct competition with them. I don't understand the obsession with Utd on here and whether or not they'll make top 4 this season. Apart from their games against us and our close rivals I'm really not bothered what they do or where they end up.
." I don'tunderstand the obsession with Utd on here" I like to have a bit of fun at their expense on here and like to put the boot in whenever I can, I also like to take the piss out of the so called unbiased football hacks at Media City. It has been amusing to see them squirm under Mourinho in the last few months but I totally agree that our club and our form and performances, injuries etc is more important than anything that happens at the Devil Dome. So all in all I'm in agreement saint.
They're a different case altogether, they've won less than Everton throughout their existence yet they think there bigger than LFC.
We're doing really well, up two places in the richest clubs table and the mancs dropped two places. #allgood
They are on sky. This thread is prem, euro and cups watch ... not including LFC really. its us watching any and all other games... in theory. Its used every time theres a game in league being watched at weekends and during CL. Admittedly nobody has paid a blinds bit of notice of europa league as its such an easy standard and its the same as city playing burton. I'm just surprised nobody seems to care at all.
