    Chelsea have signed Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain on loan for the remainder of the season with an option to buy him for 36m euros (£31.3m).

    The Blues also have the option to extend the Argentine's loan deal until June 2020 for 18m euros (£15.6m).

    A mill a month is "only" £250k a week, Higuian's been one of the best strikers in Europe for a decade or so now so you'd probably say he's worth it in footballing money terms.

    Although at 31 and carrying a bit of extra weight these days, he's likely not going to be as deadly as he used to be.

    Cue him banging in 20 goals now.
