Don't think we have ever had a thread on favourite cakes before. Since I came off my medication just over a year ago I have found myself enjoying sweet things again. For nigh on 20 years I wouldn't touch a cake or pudding, cheese was my choice but I shall leave that for another engrossing thread. Plenty of cakes to choose from. I would have to say though that Tipsy Cake was my favourite and I shall now start searching around for a suitable establishment that lets its patrons delight in the pleasure of such a treat. As far as cakes go, Battenberg is very decent. The yellow stuff on the outside is lovely, but bad for us diabetics. Do you not eat cakes anymore, ST?
Lebanese cake is sweeter than saccharine mixed with sugar and dumped on top of Little House on the Prairie. Nice with their coffee though.
And I believe they have a crazy amount of different Kit Kats. My friend who teaches English in Tokyo often sends me pictures of his choccy treats.
Yeah. I like the green tea ones. And the sweet potato ones are nice. My sister-in-law sends food packages every few months full of the wife's favourite biscuits, cakes and crisps.
