So he's turning down a loan to a club that's currently fourth in La Liga and in the knockout stages of the Europa League to phone it in for an easy payday? Yeesh, his agent must be livid right now...

He really ain’t the full ticket.

He already annoyed the club when he rejected the Brighton loan last season (where he could’ve shown what he was capable of in the league his parent club plays in) and now he’s rejecting a side like Sevilla... He should be thanking his lucky stars such a club came in for him.

****ing hell, the lengths people go too to not play for Neil Warnock is getting extreme.

All seriousness, hoping the lad and those on board are safe. Not looking good though.

    If you do the packing
    I'll fill the tank
We'll drive him straight up there
    Then go to the bank

Reckon he'll do well there and we'll wonder what could have been.

    Random Winger of the Day
As we seem to be perpetually linked with wingers, as if the hacks haven't figured out that Gerry Francis and his winger obsession was over twenty years ago, TuttoMercatoWeb (no, wait, come back!) are linking us with Udinese winger Rodrigo de Paul...even though he signed a five year contract extension in November

While I'm doubtful considering the source, and with Udinese hovering just above the relegation zone there's no way they'd be selling him in January as he's been carrying the team this season, he does strike me as a player who can do a job in the team: he's primarily a winger but is just at home through the middle, and can even play up front if needed. In other words he's quite similar to Lamela as he's a wide attacking midfielder instead of an out-and-out winger, so he's more likely to cut inside and thread a through ball to feet than bomb down the wing and cross it in

We'll see if his name resurfaces in the summer, although we'd probably have signed eighteen wingers from the Championship by then...

    So how about limericks!

A forward from the land of great flora
Our Vinnie just wasn't a goal scorer
He went off to Turf Moor
    To try and score More
Whilst we put our faith in Lucas Moura

Poor old Janssen will be on his way soon
Didn’t fancy a spell with Chris Hughton
    Luckily we have Jack Roles
And I hear he scores goals
Maybe Vinnie can fly home from Luton?

Vinnie J was here for a bit,
He was not an unqualified hit,
    His scoring was sparse,
Unlike the size of his arse,
And his shooting was totally ****.

    Sorry Vinnie!

    Roses are red -
You’re all killing this poem -
    You’ve all been misled:
    It’s time you went hoem.

    Roses are red?
    I do beg your pardon!
    There’s suddenly weeds
    In my song-writing garden!
