The only reason he would come here is because Matt Jarvis'. bed is now vacant. Hope he does go to 1p5wich.
Not sure where to post this but Carlton is back and ready to go . https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwi...ty-u23s-take-on-leicester-in-pl-cup-1-5858939
Can't loan Morris out, surely. We need squad depth, and I don't see us buying anyone. He's earned a chance off the bench for a few games.
A tricky one FML - we already have 3 strikers and mostly play only one and if one suffers an injury!!! Look at it from the other point of view in that he could help some of our opponents take points off our nearest challengers.
We have 3 fit strikers at the moment. Morris needs regular football to continue his development. Much better to have him out on loan playing regular football with a recall clause. At least in that way he continues to develop and if we do need him, he should be match fit and raring to go.
Id rather give Morris game time above Srbeny, and I don't think he'd take points off our rivals. Not sure if any teams in this league would take a chance on him. Where as for us, taking the chance on Academy players has really paid off, and we need home grown players in the squad.
I thought Reading was his only interested, and therefore viable option? https://www.teamtalk.com/news/exclusive-middlesbrough-derby-eyeing-norwich-attacker
We haven't taken a chance on them, we've given them a chance when we felt they were ready so Lewis & Arrons came straigth in whilst Godfrey & Cantwell went out on loan and came back much better players for it. If the Academy model is going to work for us the club needs to prioritise development of players over just bunging them in the first team and see what happens. Thats gambling not developing players.
That’s not what I was saying at all. Nice way to make that look like a negative. That took some twisting.
Agent talk to boost his salary? "Oh yes lots of clubs want Nelson, you'd best pay him a huge wedge and include a nice agent's fee to secure him quick"
