A heady mixture. Fact is, nobody actually knows and nobody ever will.

One thing for sure, Darwin was full of ****. That has been proved.

Anyone that does not even contemplate the existence of other life out there is bordering on the idiotic and delusional. Quite happy to believe some grainy pictures of man landing on a windswept moon but life elsewhere, oh my, heaven forbid no.

There is life elsewhere and it is typical arrogance of humans (especially the scientists) that there is nothing else out there. No water they say, typical of mankind's blinkered vision. Everything must have the same conditions as humans in order to live and survive.

<laugh>

I would suspect that people who believe that man landed on the moon are quite likely to suspect that life exists elsewhere in the universe.

As theories go evolution is pretty believable. It is however just a theory.

My main objection to Darwin is that he was a fraud and a plagiarist.

Who proved Darwin was full of sh.it? Of his many works and theories which ones are meant to be nicked off others and in which case whom?

Darwin believed in evolution and adaptation of species. Even though he believed in God himself much of his theoretical work had been and is still being dismissed by fundamentalists, flat-earthers and others of a slightly suspect disposition.

You lot can believe what you like, by so doing you are demonstrating what it is to be human.

God - don't believe, all made up to keep proles towing the line. Worked throughout human history and no chance of it slowing down. See Scientology if you need proof.

Aliens - the universe is a pretty big place, existence of other sentient beings isn't a massive stretch of the imagination but that doesn't mean I believe that aliens built the pyramids or that they crash landed a space ship at Roswell. That sort of stuff can be the pastime of the "sandwich short of a picnic" brigade.

Darwin - a lot of what he said makes perfect sense, some of his observations on species adaptability (even if he nicked the idea) stands up to scrutiny today.

Go on then fairy feet, tell us how theories in science are irrefutable fact or whatever you think theories in science to be. I am interested to know your thoughts on the matter.
