Black Adder 1-3 (didn't like Goes Forth much) The Young Ones The Fast Show (not really a sit-com unless you count each sketch as its own situation) The I.T. Crowd was a chuckle and the redhead burd was/is a Wid Gavin and Stacey was practically un-watchable, strange with so much "talent" in the cast Red Dwarf was ok in parts but got a bit formulaic after a while Nobody getting onto the 70's classics? Are You Being Served? The Liver Birds (Nerys, Wid) Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em Get Some In Til Death Us Do Part On the Buses Mind Your Language Actually they were all pretty sh.it as it happens.
Hancock was great but thought it was all about him, didn't realise how much he relied on Sid James and Galton and Simpson. Hancock's Half Hour was fantastic.
He was self destructive, never thought he was good enough. In trying to better himself he got worse. This, along with alcoholism, topped himself. He was only 44. Looked 64 in the end.
None of these mentioned yet all of which I like/love: Phoenix Nights Inbetweeners Toast of London White Gold Detectorists Drop the Dead Donkey Yes (Prime) Minister One Foot in the Grave
I used to think this but over time I think the 2nd series is better. 1st series was watchable but hardly a classic.
Yeah I know. He was great as he was but with those people around him. Think he went to Australia and committed suicide there? "12 Angry Men" pastiche still cracks me up....................."as Shakespeare said in The Merchant Of Vienna"
To be blatantly honest, Blackadder is basically the same 2 or 3 jokes over and over again. Another series that has not aged well at all.
