https://www.cafc.co.uk/tickets/ground-regulations 12.3 The entry onto the playing area or any adjacent area to which spectators are not generally admitted without lawful authority or excuse. Conviction may result in a Banning Order being made. After the ugly scenes on Saturday, with one of our players being badly hurt by a spectator, it has been announced that the club are looking to ban the fans concerned.
What is interesting is that both high profile pitch incursions over the weekend involved similarities. 1. They were both caused by last minute winning goals. 2. The culprits were both foreigners - Nuno Espirito Santo at Wolves, and Reams at Charlton. Perhaps they both needed the English laws on this translated for them?
@baraettmattesvensson Any idea as to the identity of the Charlton pitch invader ? He looks vaguely familiar - I think I have seen him at a couple of Charlton games in the last 10 years?
It does look remarkably like Ivor, but it can't be. He says he works in retail and only gets one Saturday in three off. Knowing he was at Shrewsbury it cannot be him.
I have read that Bielik is out of the Peterborough game due to the injuries sustained celebrating the goal on Saturday.
It definitely isn’t Ivor. He is on the record as describing the pitch invaders at the famous Burnley / Fans Sofa game as “melts”
Interesting. This narrows down the culprit. Can I see a price sticker on there from Lidl’s in Wrexham ?
What do you think the punishment from the Club will be, if they catch the culprit? I reckon a restriction to only being able to attend one Charlton match per season.
Like Prince Phillip, the Moderator would have a word with people (Muzza) and all charges would be dropped
To be honest, Reams looms as if he was invited there. Not really a pitch invasion, more of a visit. He also avoided kicking our players in the balls, which sadly seems part of moder pitch invasions at the Valley.
