It seems like that's the obvious part of the team that needs help considering our recent scoring rate.
Surely someone like Ian Rush or even the great Keith Edwards could pass on enough tips to sharpen up our finishing.

I might be in a small minority on this, but the best finisher I ever saw for City was Alex Dyer.

not sure how it would work, strikers are born with the instinct or they arent, dont think it can be taught like other positions.

Sorry I can't go along with that one unless we want them to learn how to fall on their a**es with only the keeper to beat.

You obviously never saw Keith Edwards.

I remember Wagstaff and Chilton, but neither was as good as Edwards for finishing.

I started watching City in 79 so I saw a lot of Edwards and I have great respect for him, but the reason I liked Dyer was because he was ice cold in front of goal.
I remember him playing keepy-uppy in the six yard box once with studs flying at him from all angles. Then he just did a little shimmy and slotted it in as cool as you like.

Surely the key with any coach is good clear communication. Not exactly Deanno's strong point sad to say. Keith Edwards for me as well, superb finisher never understood why a big club didnt take him.

    Disagree.

Remember how Chillo transformed the bricky from Mexborough?
