Just back from our gig. First time we've gigged for 2 years and we ****ing nailed it We've got a new drummer and he is a delight to play with, makes my job easy as a bass player. We've got a great understanding already and it's wonderful to play off his little snaps, fills and rolls. There's a great dynamic there in the rhythm section already. So much fun getting up on stage again, I'd almost forgotten how much fun it is. Anyway, we've already been offered another gig. So we'll build slowly and I think we'll probably try and recruit a trumpet player and a rhythm guitarist and turn it into a 10 piece with full brass section.
