Is that about a ten min drive from yours as you go up into the gower on the left of the road in a village?

A mate of mine always goes to the woodman. His family all live near you. His uncle is a good golfer plays at clyne. Got his name on the board quite a few times winning the club champs.

Yeah, that's the one you said had won the club championship at Pennard. I do know of him.

Plough is 2 minutes away. On that road but closer.

No different mate. My friend who used to be a pro thinks his mate from when they were trying to get tour cards plays at your place. A different friend whose family are from Swansea his uncle plays clyne. We met him that weekend we all came down and played clyne.

    Ah ok.

That bloke never won anything at Pennard so if it's not him your other mates are making stuff up.

May have been a pro am or something at your place. Will ask my mate this week. See if he can find the post his mate made about it. If I remember right it was a photo of a trophy with a check in at pennard. I don’t care to be quite honest.

Starving Hagler here but what to have? Thinking of smoked bacon with onions and baked beans with red chilli cooked in a tomato sauce with honey and tamarind but I can’t be arsed.

    No, nor do I.

He's absolutely never won the Pennard club championship, or any of our board comps.

I don't remember his name even but he used to be pro at Clyne though I think. He certainly exists in golf circles round here!

The gastro pub thing food was really good. Had a Sunday roast duo; beef and pork. Pate to start.

Ruined only by my own annoying kids if I'm honest.

Wedges done in the fryer lad?

Just had a quick chicken roast dinner. Went to the pub for an hour and a half during the chicken cooking. The chicken was over done.
