Had no effect on the fact that it made the news because it was Prince Philip. Guilty or innocent....he was always going to be the topic of the reporting. Luckily everyone walked away without a serious physical injury....though no one can discount the shocking mental effect of such an accident.
The speed limit is to be cut and safety cameras installed on the road where Prince Philip crashed close to the Sandringham Estate. The stretch of the A149 where the collision occurred has been the scene of 40 accidents - including five fatal - over six years to last May. Why do these things take so long. Have to say that you shouldn't need to be told to slow down if you are familiar with a road.
Ah the joys of working from home. Had to get something out that was very important by 2pm (and very visible to the business) that I knew would take me an hour max to prepare. So I took it 'easy' this morning. Then disaster struck. Laptop charge 11%, phone 25% and we get a power cut at 12pm in the whole area (All of BH12, BH3 and BH9 apparently). Tried to use my phone as the internet for my laptop and both went dead 10 mins later.... Missed my deadline, pissed off my boss and it had visibility to a lot of people. Oh well, they may hurry up with my redundancy
