Just want to echo someone from earlier in the thread - Ralph has improved every single player in the team, in just a few weeks. A genuinely phenomenal achievement, from a guy that also has the passion that all fans want to see. The dream appointment, really. Couldn’t have hoped for more.
Meanwhile, us Canadians are so skinny that our doctors prescribe us ice cream. Okay, just me. I should've gotten that in writing and framed, though.
I can't stand poutine, even after living in Quebec where they supposedly do it right. What kind of idea is drenching otherwise edible things in "gravy" that is basically salty brown bouillon. Only upshot was my Quebecois-raised friend buying head cheese alongside the ubiquitous brown sauce for her's. For those unfamiliar, it's pig brains in a can, and the nutritional information might as well have read "OH DEAR JESUS WHY". Who doesn't want 2500% of their daily cholesterol in order to eat squishy brown vaguely cheesy brains? She ate it. She ate it as if it was a good thing. I derived a fair amount of enjoyment from the fact that I wasn't eating it, and she had paid actual money to facilitate the eating of it.
I wondered if that was a slap on the wrist & told not to be stupid again. We were lucky his suspension didn’t hurt us & we didn’t really need today.
I presume your second team is Atlanta Utd? Please don't wear their kit....it looks too much like Bournemouth. Though as someone else said, stripes are slimming
Just watched MOTD for a second time (or at least one match from it ) and have already watched the 30 min highlights on Sky. Impressions: team now good to watch, JWP looking good, Redmond enjoying his football, Bednerak impressive and giving his all, score could have been higher (have we got extra-thick goal posts ), our manager is passionate and may actually be a complete nut job. We may not win every game (though that would be nice) but at least fans will be entertained and ensured the players are giving their all.
That’s one thing I’ve noticed watching derby and motd; redmond looks really really happy! Like someone has taken the shackles off him.
I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's match and kept wanting to sing that famous chant " We hate Bailey and we hate Bailey etc." and I have still not forgiven that little squirt (response from the PC Brigade expected) Adrian Heath so as always it was good to get a win against Everton. There were some excellent performances yesterday but the stand out one was Bednarek followed by Højbjerg, Redmond, James W-P and Romeu. Ings didn't look fully match fit to me and he was exhausted by half time. Valery is still a work in progress but is getting better with each game. Ralph has really turned things around and I am starting to enjoy watching the Saints again however he has to work on us keeping the ball and not passing/losing it to the opposition. For me the poorest performance of the afternoon was from the referee who missed so much that even with my very poor eyesight I could see from halfway up the stands.
