I literally don't understand what is happening. And I don't care. Missed the game today but what a fooking win that is.
A couple of weeks back I booked a room at the new Premier Inn in Wembley for the play-off final on 27th May. Just in case!
Great win at Forest and my old mate Fammy does the business. We appear to have found one of the essential ingredients for success and that is resilience. Without a couple of regulars and Frankie back in goal we came up trumps at an always difficult venue for the opposition. Well done Lee and the lads, now take us higher and higher.
Flexi booking. Can cancel up until 1pm on the day of arrival!! Got to keep all bases covered - at least I have a room should it happen!!
Special mention for Frankie - out of action this season and most of today’s game to be fair, but popped up with a crucial save right when we needed.
Right just got back and my take. We bossed the game from start too finish. Our passing and build up play was exceptional. Going to be honest we went into a pub for food and drinks lovely jubbly then the team was announced and Nikki was missing and Taylor and Webster injured. Baker and Kalas were fantastic and Frankie had a cracking game two/three cracking saves.well done to him. The boys played excellent football. There is no reason why a play off spot cannot be taken. Swansea up next and I reckon a near full house. It was a happy car listening to Martin O’neil and the Forest commentators talking about City is a positive way. Just may be we are turning the corner and people are taking notice.
Have you folded and put away the "LJ out", "doesn't know his best 11", "we will be in the bottom 4" ........ banners RR? At least until the next poor run!!
To RR's credit, though he is a bit knee-jerk at times & forever asking for the chequebook to come out, he does give praise when it's due. Hopefully he'll have no reason to complain between now & the rest of the season.
