Maybe, in his wisdom, this guy 'God' we keep hearing about is keeping her alive so she can endure every disease and infliction known to man?
that was the crap played on TOTP and the radio. the real deal was going on in the clubs/pubs/arenas. places like the 100 club, oxford street, the marquee,Hammersmith odeon, the Astoria, Clarendon hotel. gigs like that really.
punks cool, dont get me wrong, Saw Dead Kennedys,Exploited, anti nowhere league, killing joke ( sort of punk i guess ) all good stuff, and thrash metal has a lot to thank them for, however.....................................................

I may only be 28 but the music from the 80s was about 10000 times better than the ****e of my teenage years in the mid to late 90s and it is 1000000 times better than the ****e of the (and I hate using this word) noughties. Movies were better back then as well, actors were required to be able to act and writers were expected to be able to write as they didn't have all the special effects that film companies tend to use now to disguise horrible acting and unimaginative writing.
