Liverpool are the bestest team ever, all information to the contrary must be ignored in face of their obvious entitlement to be brilliant. They might need one of Salah's "special tricks" to get back into this one.

Palace fans must wonder why their ability to spoil the chances of the top sides isn't repeated against the rest

The BBC commentary suggests a massive deflection for the first goal into Salah's path, and the second was not good goalkeeping (from the 39 year old keeper). But this is obviously well deserved (!)

Apparently VVD hit a shot from 30 yards that looped up off a defender to Salah.

Oh yeah, and a deflection for Firmino’s, too, apparently. <doh>
