I directed Accrington Pals a few years ago. A fantastic story of bravery and camaraderie. We should all be proud of what these people went through. Whole towns and cities of men were effectively wiped out.

Accrington is not the best of places but the people are very friendly.

Bowyer needs to administer a kick up the jacksie, and get Pratley off for a more attacking player. I'd say Lapslie but it will probably be Reeves.
Out MOM is young Naby. Superb.

    What a valuable win <applause>

Lyle Taylor will be a big loss for three games, but looking at the other results, that was a game that we had to win today.

I did tell you that Karlan has brilliant composure :emoticon-0136-giggl

Roll on the sell out next Saturday :emoticon-0148-yes:

I made the ground about a third full, including about 150 away fans. An enjoyable win against a big physical team.

roughly 12000 there today according to the media people. slightly bigger gate than normal (home). enjoyed that game, their players were time wasting from about the 50th minute, all too quick to instigate a fight too. surprised they didnt see a few more reds for assaulting the lino after the penalty was given.

we was poor today. too many playmaker type players and not enough threat. we'll miss taylor in the next game as we have no like for like replacement.

    4pts off top!

A very poor performance by the ref. Missed the penalty, only rectified by the lino. Sent off the wrong players, and let the instigator of the trouble off scot free.

Today is the reason why boycotting is stupid .
That feeling at the end is exactly the reason why we go to football, and watching a score come in on soccer Saturday just doesn’t work !
This team and crowd are united if your not there you are missing a great season and as a charlton fan they are sparse
94 minutes of crap but what a buzz
Only downside is I keep spilling my gold due to a smile as big as ernies **** mag collection!

I would have been there but I wasn't feeling very well.
Didn't want to spoil the day for any fellow fans by throwing up on them.

If I feel better by the time Southend make the short trip to SE7 I'll be in attendance I expect.
    Well done the lads today.

That was lively. To borrow a cliche Dirty Northern Bastards. I don't know how they didn't have another 2 or 3 players sent off. It also went off big time in the tunnel. Williams had to be dragged out. I have played a lot of Sunday Morning football and this match reminded me of those games. Awful match but we won three points and that is all that matters. I hope Taylor gets his sending off rescinded.

I agree mr pulledoff, but it was still a great feeling when I read we'd scored the penalti, and I'm still buzzing now. Can't see me catching a game till next season now given famiy and work stuff, but wow, I bet it was great being there when 0-0 turned into 1-0.
It also sounded like Naby is getting better and better. Not having Taylor nest week is a real pain, but let's enjoy tonight for the moment,

People think the Accrington Chairman is a good bloke but I think he is a twat. His manager is a gobshite (was the same in the first game) and as you say, they are a dirty side. He also charges top dollar for facilities that would shame Welling.

    Fvck the Accies.

Charlton life dullards are as always praising anyone but Charlton, I agree that side are anti football and their behaviour was a disgrace , love the fact they went home with nothing.
Every side has a bad decision against them but not every side acts like that
