One of the encouraging things this year is the quality in depth of the squad, along with Aarons, Cantwell and Godfrey coming in to boost that further. Trybull isn't as good as Tettey at breaking up attacks but he's close and he's a far better passer than Tettey for getting attacks going. He and Vrancic paired up very well.

Monk clearly saw Buendia as our danger man so they tried to mark him out of the game, but failing that, they kicked him out of the game. At least this time it was obvious to all that Championship refs fail to protect skilled players from red card tackling. Fortunately it's only a dead leg this time, so Buendia could be back for the Blades game. Trybull also just skilfully avoided a studs up leg breaker.

According to DF, Buendia's was a dead leg, so he could be back next week. Not sure about Zimmo.

DF answers your question, GM <ok>
"“In the second half we changed to a more pragmatic style because Birmingham realised they would concede seven or eight in this style so they sat deeper and waited for counters. That is why we calmed it down."

    Ah, brilliant!

Was really worried he got rushed back too soon from his last injury. As long as he hasn't aggravated it.

Zimmbo played on to the end, so you'd hope he's fine, otherwise that was stupid to not sub him.

I'd love to see Tettey, Vrancic and Leitner start every game - but a sacrifice has to be made to give the side some balance. An awesome trio at this level for sure.
And none of the Farke signings made much of a hole in the club's (fairly fragile) bank balance <ok>

Sheff U will be a massive 6 pointer grudge match as they really hate us for some bizzare reason.
Expect more cynical kicking of our players to go unpunished.

It's really pathetic how they are still crying over that one game, and assume every game since, we play that way.

Maddison was getting kicked anyway they have no complaints, our fans got attacked afterwards too.

And their gobby manager played the victim.

They are the only team to beat us on the road so the only side that can do the double on us which is extra incentive.

There were several robust challenges that were completely ignored by the ref!!!

Finished 2-1 to Stoke and Leeds had a man sent off for two yellows. There's only one point and one goal in GD between us now (17/16)!
