Another fray bentos pie fan I’m going to have to buy one to try. There was barely any filling in them 25 years ago. Must be worse now as everything is smaller these days.
Actually ate loads of those when I was at uni as they were cheap as chips. Got a taste for them, you never forget.
Another scabby tinned item I quite like was stagg tinned chilli con carne and have over a massive bag of tortilla chips with a mountain of grated cheese on top. If I remembered I’d get some sour cream. Literally 0- tasty in 5 mins. Was a hardy late night snack when I used to smoke weed years ago.
That’s when I used to eat them along with pot noodles and pasta bakes. That’s one thing I’ve never eaten since uni. I lived on pasta and used to buy the twists and a pot of pasta bake sauce. Reckon I used to eat it 3 times a week. Maybe chuck a tin of tuna in with it, sometimes chunks of spam too.
