Some numpty on here suggested that one should start a somewhat highbrow thread about the Arts, it's okay Mick (the non clubbed foot one) I won't say it was you. Now as I have already made transparent, I do not listen to useless critics who tell one who one should and should not like. Everyone has their own valid opinion, it's not black and white as to what's good and what's not. Now, I well remember in Art at school being force fed what and what not to like regarding the so called "classics" etc and generally behaving like an obstreperous, obnoxious and sarcastic ****, something which I has never left me if truth be told, and rebelling. Usually entailed getting the belt but really didn't bother me. In fact we used to have competitions in school to see who could get the belt the most. Anway, one digresses, Surrealism was something I used to poo-poo as a supposedly know-it-all 12/13 year old but when I was expelled eventually I became a committed admirer of Surrealism and Dadaism art in all it forms. It makes you think laterally and at a myriad of tangents and that suits my brain immensely and gratifyingly. Don't get me started on Modern Art which is just utter pish. That, however, is just my opinion and ultimately is as worthless as the next persons. Anyway, time for a Ginger Snap I think.
No it wasn't. I made a number of points. If you have nothing constructive to say then don't bother. I realise that means you will never be on here but it's something I am sure we can all learn to put up with.
