Don't know what you have been watching ... but the VAR review on non controversial goals is usually completed well before the goal celebration routine and the ball being back on the half-way line
it all balances out, mistakes have always been a talking point..Pretty **** when the game is perfect, He need the element of human **** ups, for talking points
Top flight football is already incredibly sterile. Reviewing every muthafuckin decision will completely kill it as a spectacle. It won’t be long before a 90 minute game takes well over 2 hours to get through, which is fine for the guy watching the game in a bar 3,000 miles away but not so great for the guy behind the goal who needs to get home and get some kip before he goes to work the next day. But **** him, no offside goals eh?
How many var games have you attended with goals in it? All 4 goals last night the players were ready to start well before the official was. Must have taken over two minutes for play to restart after their first. Probably don't notice it as much on tv cos they're showing replays/analysing etc.
I personally think hawkeye ( var ) has killed cricket and the umpires have got ****ter as a result. Ref behind goal was seen as a good idea but guy does **** all most games
... but it doesn't always balance out ... that is a myth ... as the Maradona hand-ball proves or the number of penalties awarded to the away team at Old Trafford during SAF's tenure ... the game will never be perfect and there will always be ****-ups ... but there are rules to the game and anything that helps to apply those rule fairly and consistently is, for me, an improvement ... but as I said, each to their own ...
That's why I said it's the people running it..not the system. Refs have always been ****...might aswell have a **** attempt at eradicating obvious errors.
Refs have the power to stop that though, brings it back to my point that the first port of call should be improving the standards of officiating.
May I suggest netball might be better suited for you then. You're ****ing dull enough to fit right in.
Yes mate they do ... and some people will argue that that's always been part of the game ... it hasn't ... ... go back far enough and a goal celebration was a raised arm as you ran back to the half way line ... rolling around and play acting was nothing like today's pansies and some players would play on after tackles that left them barely able to stand ... if you had tried that holding and wrestling that goes on in the box today you would have ended up with a busted nose from an old fashioned centre-forward... times have moved on and technology influences most things in our existence ... so use it
Some ****s have been known to chant "Duh"duh-der-duh-duh Danny Wellbeck" ... you're not gonna stop moronic chanting ... so one more's no harm
