About 15k, was 12 n 5 quid for adults n kids. Derby took 2.3k but no idea if they sold it all or not and couldn't see them from where I was. Shame but no one really likes the cup games anymore, especially the midweek ones. Being on telly probably knocked about 4k off it too.
Completely agree, everytime it;s used there's something wrong which is the same as without it so why bother?
Well 80% of goals you can.... The crowd aren't stupid, they can see if it's legit or not. On occasions you may have to wait but people are making far too much of this imo.
Once it becomes 2nd nature it will be fine. Next season will be a **** storm but it'll be fine after that.
I'm with Libby on this, it's pointless and will make the game worse. The Hawkeye system is superb which already sorts out goal line technology so just use that.
Plus a sub takes longer thsn a VAR check, usually. On average 5 subs a game? On average 3 goals a game? Get a grip lads.
Nothing wrong with VAR...it's the people running it that need to up their game. How can you pick and choose the games? Have VAR in one game but not in another of equal importance? They don't give it a real enough run out for everyone to speed up their education on it. Football is full of spazzes...others sports can do it no problem and none have lost their soul.
They should have a team of people to officiate the game and make decisions on the rules, they could have 2 to run the lines and one on the pitch I'm sure there will be the odd mistake but VAR is getting it wrong anyway, I know it's a crazy idea and it'll take time for fans to accept it but I believe it's the future we just need a fancy name for them and we're off.
Exactly...players roll around for a good few minutes, protest at everything for a good few minutes even though I have never ever seen a ref decide that he's overturning his decision because a bunch of ****s are spitting in his face...no one vilifies their own team for that...but VAR will ruin the game.
No you can't, they review every goal, how is something the other end of the pitch something the fans can see?
