They did play well, you’d have thought they were the PL side for much of it.

Didn’t VAR go for them for their first goal?

Tonight again showed how vulnerable we are with a back four.

Absolute **** again. There doesn't even appear to be any hope of new signings on the horizon so nothing to even look forward to in that respect. I think the board are once again gambling on there being 3 worse teams than us

Can’t wait to see Pierre back. Makes a difference. They passed it through us with ease today.

Need a striker, and a creative midfielder.

It’s not a drastic change of affairs for him so he’ll be fine.

Well, I think that we can officially say that we need actual improvements defensively if we desire our defending to improve.

Because we've got to have someone as a scapegoat.

    Stephens turn tonight.

It wasn’t our defence’s fault on the most part.

Ramsey fell asleep for the 2nd.

But they were getting between the lines well and causing us problems.

Hum, I have a very vague recollection “someone” has said that before, and for a few seasons! <laugh>

Yeah, and it doesn't help when only 1 of your regular defensive line is playing. Vestergaard is good in a back 3 along with Maya and Bednarek. Stephens just isn't good enough. I'm not basing that just on tonight. I haven't seen anything from him that convinces he is a PL defender. Should have brought on Targett after we went 2 up, or maybe even Bednarek and go with 3 CB's. Ralph really should have shut up shop.

Ramsey and Stephens were to blame for the first goal. Neither were close to their man.

    Credit to Derby.
They work hard, move the ball quickly and get forward in numbers to support the frontline.
    They are a good team.
Difficult to understand how a team (albeit a changed team) can keep the lead with 10 men, at Leicester, yet get pulled back twice from 2-0 by a team from a lower league.

If we only win games, when we have a full weeks prep, then Frankie boy might well have just saved us.

If Derby or Accrington draw Man City in the 5th round then that will make me feel a whole lot better!
