I use spag bol as an excuse to cram vegetables into my diet so put in an onion, courgette, pepper and tomatoes. Tastes nice enough to me!
I sometimes make it for the kids and then spice the leftovers up and have it as a chilli with a bit of bread. And spend the next day ****ting my innards out.
Went to the steakhouse again tonight. Just did a 16oz steak. Don’t feel quite as immobile as I did last week. Only issue is I have my steak rare, last week was perfect.. tonight it was somewhere between medium and medium rare.
I'm having a cheapy frying steak tonight, ****ing peasant...With chips (i love my new fryer). fried mushrooms, bacon, fried eggs, and a tin of heinz beans and sausages
You’re the only other person that could handle the calories. I’d happily eat like that but I’d be the size of a house/haig
sometimes i just have one of those fray bentos pies, a tin of peas, mash and gravy....always tastes great
Don’t mind a frying steak to make a steak baguette. Either with fried onions and a blue cheese sauce using Stilton and creme fraiche. Or a make it as a philly cheese steak and make a very cheesy rue. Though you can buy liquid cheese from the American section in Tesco.
Had round 2 of my chilli. I only managed to burn the bastard! Put it on low in the slow cooker and when I got back from the gym it was on high. I'm sure some bugger turned it up. Only bits of it burnt though, was still tasty as ****. The beef was just fibres, completely broken down. Will use the thing again next week and report back. After I've cleaned it!
There is nothing wrong with fray bentos pies. I’ve tried numerous frozen pies from suoermarkets and they’re not as good.
I’ve actually got the hairy bikers recipe book for pies and have never used it. Got one of Gordon Ramsey’s first books called chef. It’s brilliant. Tells you how to make numerous sauces and has some great recipes.
I love them, some people cant get away with the puff pastry... but i can, ive got 2 in the cupboard right now
In all fairness I haven’t eaten one for at least 15 years.. any pastry ****s my stomach. Puff pastry is easier on it. You ever been to a Turkish restaurant and had is it called baklava? It’s like layers of puff pastry in honey or syrup or something. ****ing marvellous it is.
I've taken this lad on from Jordan where I'm working currently. He brought me a big tin of the stuff in. Abso ****ing lutely lush. Loads of pistachio nuts involved too. I ate the ****ing lot.
