never quite understood the broken nose thing with footy players. Broke my nose several times playing rugby. Never got in the way of training or playing. No need for a mask or a few weeks off. Anyway, as I said earlier, hope its nothing serious.
This little saga has become stale and boring. From what I read elsewhere (not sure where) he does indeed want to leave Nantes, but he wants Champions League football.One comment effectively said he shouldn't let his ambitions become bigger than his level of skill... I hope, for his sake, if he does sign he hits the ground running, otherwise he may be in for some stick.

Time to go to plan B. Nantes either have a bigger offer or are trying to extract more from us. Either way, they shut the door, let’s find someone at the right price.
I thought I'd read somewhere that the two clubs had agreed a deal and it was down to Sala to decide what he wanted to do and sort his personal terms. It seems that now he's come out and told Nantes he wants to go, Nantes themselves have moved the goalposts to extract more dosh. If a slight tweak on the add ons will do it then maybe it'll be worth it, but this whole saga has been a scruffy affair - I'd be inclined to walk away.

A shambles of a transfer saga. Why don’t they just do it behind closed doors so to speak and not either alert the media or insist the players agent is precluded from alerting the media.
It’s a non story really given nothing can be considered until May. On today’s market values he’s worth substantially more than 15m. Put him with players on the same wavelength and capabilities he would be even better.
This Sala issue needs to be put to bed. Surely there are other strikers out there who would cost a fraction of the 22m asking price and are probably better than that. I would look at this Genk striker and see what he's all about, will be substantially less than 22m regardless. Also free's up money for this right back and midfielder Warnock is on about.
Sala - All smoke and mirrors. If it goes to the wire they will take the current offer and add ons. Hopefully we will have moved on to someone who wants to play for us, by then.
