I have a sneaky feeling Cardif will survive and Newcastle will join Fulham as the two others. Couple of injuries for Newcastle last night and a trip down could open them up for a takeover as their value drops, double edged sword. If relegation threatened clubs are looking to Buy lower mid table level strikers then Everton have a few to sell.
Yes 70m aint great but considering cardiff have spent **** all, newcastle have spent **** all and fulham changing most of their team (too much spending), he really shouldnt be as far behind as he is from these sides
Games Kane could miss: Fulham (away, Premier League, January 20) Chelsea (away, Carabao Cup semi-final second leg, January 24) Palace (away, FA Cup fourth round, January 27) Watford (home, Premier League, January 30) Newcastle (home, Premier League, February 2) Leicester (home, Premier League, February 13) Borussia Dortmund (home, Champions League last 16 first leg, February 13) Burnley (away, Premier League, February 23 * tbc) Carabao Cup final (Wembley, February 24 * tbc) Chelsea (away, Premier League, February 27) Arsenal (home, Premier League, March 2) Borussia Dortmund (away, Champions League last 16 second leg, March 5)
Kane will be back for the last 3 games on that list if they desperatly need him. Look at the games before he is going to miss conveniently lol. Just needs a rest
Why are you being obtuse? It's not a dificult question. What players? We have origi and sturridge, but our problem is mainly wages.
I had spurs as absolute certainties for a top 4. Now not so sure. They draw or lose a couple of games they could be drawn into the dogfight with the mancs, Arsenal and Chelsea. We will now know for sure Pochettino's calibre. Its Ok when things are going smoothly but it's in adversity and setbacks that you discover how good the manager is.
This is an interesting table: a) Look at us and city: City have played more home games than away. We are the opposite. That should balance out over next few games but its good for us right now. b) look at Chelsea. not only have they played the least top 6 games they have also played more at home. This 47 point and 6 point gap looks a false one to me. c) look at Spurs, they've played more away but they've also taken more ppg away. 2.5. this suggests that even without son away and kane out they were in for it. We need to see however they've played all the top 6 at home and not done well. That means they've top 6 games away form home coming. .... Psurs fans should start getting really worried. Top 4 is not assured, not with utd prowling. d) look at bottom teams. The green bars show the sides who are worse away from home. Cardiff and fulham are absolutely terrible away. Fulham have 2 points from 12 games! again cardiff have played more home games and are better at home but are **** away so they look like they are in a bad spot. Huddersfield are absolutely done for. But look at southampton and palace for poor home form!! the bottom 4 teams on home form are: Palace P11 points 9 southampton P10 points 8 newcastle played 10 points 7 Huddersfield played 11 points 5 That tells me that some clubs clearly have a big issue with fans and are really unable to win at home. . this reminds me of Villa TBH. Newcastle unrest and general discontent it seems to be is affecting side badly. If ashely would even let them buy a damned striker even to prepare for next season they might cheer a bit more. interesting however newcastle are 12 in away table with 11 points. they clealry play better away. Core support through thick and thin and that. Then Southampton.... 13th on away table will 11points.... new manager, new optimism?? they should do better at home for rest of season?? Palace are very odd. they shouldn't be that bad at home as its not an easy ground to play at. E) finally midtbale: Everton, Brighton and bournemouth... again these sides are very poor on the road. west ham on the other hand are pretty consistent home or away and have found that comfortable mid table position now. Suggests to me that we need to watch out for West ham home game.

What I get from this table is that Chelsea are more formidable away than at home whilst man United are stronger at home. Which has some relevance to our matches. Arsenal are weaker away too.
