Some comments on here are more than a little baffling. We want the “kids” to get game time and when they do some people moan. Joselu is a £5M striker and some on here expect him to play and score like Aguerro. Murphy doesn’t get consistent game time and people moan when he’s “rusty”. We effectively have a squad and team of Championship standard due to years of lack of investment and some on here complain when we play to that standard.
I expect Joselu to play like a professional footballer, that's all. I expect Murphy to look "worth" £12m. There are many players around who have cost the same and do just fine, we've already had that chat. And I also think Sterry gets a pass, Longstaff and Roberts have done as well as can be expected. It's the Rafa buys playing Rafaball that make me want to **** needles.
