Yes as far as I’m concerned. The vote paper said Remain or Leave I don’t remember seeing an option that said leave one foot in.
May needs to resign and get someone in who actually wants and believes in Brexit or a no deal Brexit. Labour are no better, they just want an election. This is the best offer Europe are going to offer until we say we’re exiting without a deal
Corbyn just wants to be PM and dish out benefits, he doesn’t give a **** about Brexit or remain he just wants power, 3/4 of Conservatives don’t want to leave Europe so are trying to force another referendum, ****ing shambles. What happened to Teresa Mays quote a few months ago, “No deal is better than a bad deal”.
Fascinating Whatever we all voted in the referendum, I can’t see us leaving on 29th March. Forgetting what we WANT, what do we THINK will happen now? I recon a General Election, with Brexit being delayed for 6 more months (till September)
They should stop ****ing about and do what the majority of the people voted for that was on the ballot paper
There won't be a general election. The gov will win a confidence vote. So we will still be in the sh-t, fixed term parliament. The problems caused by a fixed term parliament are now becoming self evident. The Tories would shi- themselves if we were to have a general election because they would lose and lose heavily. This would pave the way for the likes of Corbin Abbott Lammy and co. Heaven preserve you all. I'm at the age where it won't effect me, but I do feel sorry for the younger ones.
I think you are right the government will win the confidence vote exactly because "The Tories would shi- themselves if we were to have a general election because they would lose and lose heavily" and the DUP enjoy having a disproportionate influence in the current coalition government. Then what. A delay to BREXIT to allow more negotiation, of what? the EU aren't going to give more than they have currently on the table. A WTO conditions exit, I don't believe your government will support this, so it's really not an option in my opinion, even if it is what the public want. Regardless of which side of this interesting argument you are on it is difficult to see how it can be resolved without something dramatic happening, like a second vote or a change of government and I don't think a change of government will happen. If there is another vote it has to be binding as the first one was "for information purposes only" What a mess young David got you into by trying to appease his own party and defuse the rise in popularity of UKIP. Two and a half years of divided opinion and inactivity by government on a whole raft of issues that should have been addressed.
This whole Brexit saga is just full of hidden agendas, those that genuinely want Brexit have all resigned because they can’t stand by and support a one foot in policy, it isn’t even best foot in. Corbyn is ****ing me off no end, he just wants to stir the **** up more and more trying to force an election, the prick won’t accept an election is last thing on the list and it will never happen. Sturgeon wants to stir the **** for another Scottish referendum and half the conservatives want another Brexit vote, none of them accept the previous outcomes, they just want to keep sending us to the polls hoping to one day get their moment of fame. I’m meeting more and more people who say they “wondered” if they’d made the right choice 12 months ago, now they are sick of the mind games, scaremongering and politicians not listening so they want us out even more now. 12 months ago remainers had got the attention of a few brexiters, they’ve lost them back now with all this ****.
The only reason Cameron got in with a good majority and without the need for a coalition was because he promised a referendum, if that victory alone didn’t spell out what the British public wanted then they’re so far out of touch they should hang themselves. May was stupid not to realise this so she called one and it resulted in a true reflection of a near 50/50 Labour Conservative divide, we’d got our referendum, we’d voted Brexit. Now we’ve half the conservatives trying to deliver a no deal Brexit means Brexit and we’ve got half wanting to keep one foot in. Disgraceful the lot of them, if they did a second referendum there would be uproar, they might get a shock too as we’d feel cheated and those on the fence voters might well vote exit too, then what....
