Teddy Sheringham is a winner, surely he could help Kane?

Incidentally they are but more pertinently they both flatter to deceive in a similar manner. Plus we got Diame in when Sissoko left (though not a like-for-like role) so it's an obvious comparison.

As for Henderson he's just a poor mans Paul Ince. Reckon he'd be expensive to buy though if anyone actually decided they wanted too.

David Bentley was in the 2001/2002 double winning Arsenal squad.

Before ending up at Spurs ....

Why would I want to do that? Without investment just another competition we'd dump out of. On the plus side if you turn the table upside down you guys may be on course to climb out of the relegation zone soon.

He also won the League Cup with Spurs. I'm surprised the cheese room isn't named after him, probably the biggest serial winner Spurs have had

    No he didn’t.

We can still name the cheese room after him though if you like, David Bentbrie.

We got £60m for Wijnaldum (decent player) and Andy Carroll. I can't even begin to work out how much they paid you guys, would it have been cheaper to simply buy your club?

Well they could have got an 80% stake for less than what they've given us in fees.

What i like with David Bentley is that when he poured that bucket over Harry Redknapps head if you look closely at Harry's eyes you can see the end of a career.

All that is required is to get a decent goalkeeper, drop Sterling and get a creative midfielder. Oh and don’t let Henderson anywhere near the squad. You were talking about England weren’t you?

Why not, he certainly seemed to fade towards the end of the tournament. We've got a lot of players with 'potential' who often look a bit worse for England than I'd hope Sterling, Alli, Rashford (amongst others) all run around and look busy but aren't as clinical as they should be. The defence on the other hand seem to perform better as a collective than their individual talents would suggest - can't win them all.

Latest stats. Spurs win 44% of games when Kane isn’t playing and 66% when he is playing.

    That’s a difference of 22%.

Absolute ****e that like, Paul Ince was an ego full stop, Hendo is a Mackem lad that we all knew would go far when he was 16 and still lots more to come from him too. Ince was your typical ref's don't like me cos I'z black and all that **** that got the snowflakes going, he didn't give a ****, his stint at Boro proved that when he was snorting charlie in the bogs of the Purple Onion. Got to know him well and he is a ****ing arsehole.. <ok>

    Over what period?
This season it's been 64% with Kane and 80% without. Last season was 58% with and 70% without.
