With regards to line up for the Udders game I was surprised to read late that NW played Camarasa and Paterson whilst they were carrying injuries. Surely this game would have been ideal for them to rest prior to the Newcastle game, unless NW has no faith in his chosen bench...
Taff - Bellamy under investigation by CCFC after accusations of "racist" comments and actions against English members of the CCFC under 18 squad by their parents. Part of that was the accusation that when England were playing in the World Cup, Bellamy turned off the GSTQ anthem on the tele, and in so doing, upset fragile English members of his squad - viz - he's a racist. I'd hang, draw and quarter him myself.
That's exactly what happens in my house! My daughter gets a bit sniffy about it (she was born in Bristol and has never lived outside England - though she considers herself Welsh), mainly as she has an English boyfriend and we live in England.
Just a thought on Reid. Does anyone think that maybe not having Ken fit may have played a part? In my head Reid is more a creative player rather than an out and out striker, so maybe not having Ken making runs in behind / off the shoulder (Pato doesn't really fit that mould) then maybe it hasn't helped? Also, maybe Warnock thought we'd be OK with only one defensive minded midfielder (ie. Gunner OR Arter) but as it's turned out, we actually need both and don't have the luxury of playing Victor and Reid together ? I dunno myself TBH . Just trying to make sense of the signing.
I know I'll sound like a such record but 4231 with a hold up striker would bring the other 3 into play. Be that Reid, Murphy, NML, camarasa. We've not had that player.
