Saturday's game confirmed everything the majority thought about our play - an abject performance that made a poor side look good. It needs a shake up in personnel (most obvious), lineup selection and tactics to win games and not just prevent the other side from winning.
Hmm, 3 penalties in his total, one of which he missed but scored the rebound, which dilutes his total a bit. Seems to get into good areas resulting in a few scrappy goals, which is positive. Also, he seems to be able to head the ball.
What's the chances we can get both Sala and Samatta? It would only cost about £30M - a small price to pay to stay up............. Put it this way - £6M for Madine or around £11M for Samatta? That must be a no brainer.
You can question some of the defending for a couple of the samatta goals, but there's no questioning his ability to put the ball in the back of the net. To be honest, he looks as if he'd suit our current style more than sala. I'm with you, get them both.
Agree. Let's give the opposition something to think about. Toshack and Clark, Earnshaw and Thorne. Alston and Evans. Sala and Samatta, why not?

Not sure it is such a bad deal for if several of our central defenders do fall injured or suspended which is overdue, then City do need cover notwithstanding Connelly hasn’t played more than one first team game this season and that was a lamentable display v Norwich in the Cup 6 months ago.
Nin - we need him (or someone else) off the books and out of the "25" otherwise we can't play any new signings until 31st Jan when the new list goes in. That's of course if we do sign anyone.
