It’s not a question of no ambition it’s just the way it is, if we tried to prevent it if it’s true , firstly we wouldn’t succeed, and secondly if you were an up and coming player hearing we’d tried to stop one of our players progressing would you be more, or less , inclined to want to join us, knowing we may well do the same to you .

also could be an agent feeding a story to get "interest to sell him"
Who will be the first club to set up their own agents!...…………...

If we lose a couple of games, you'll be putting the blame towards LJ for the signings <laugh>

Not sure I believe this to be honest. Just sounds like his agent being an agent.

Well ambition is to get to the premiership, if you get a young talent make him a better player and then decide to sell for big money to me that's not ambition, it's good business for the club but if it stunts your progress you just stagnate and just stay where you are, is that ambition I don't think so but that's just me.

The idea Alan is to sell high , then replace with as good/ better for less , ie Flint/Webster then it’s win win.

We seem more capable of achieving those targets better than ever before so well done to the person who has lined up these actual or potential deals. Bigger, better and cheaper is a wise road to travel because success can still be achieved without running in to the FFP wall at the end of the street.
