I do yeah, at two different age groups at two different clubs. One at U13 with my eldest in a neweoy formed club and also U9's, which I've been doing since they were 6. It's really good but does get in the way of other stuff. Golf, specifically!
As a grass roots coach there is nothing worse than shouty ****s on the touchline! If parents of our boys do it I ask them to either help out on Saturday's (or Sunday's) or shut the **** up. They're children for **** sake.
FAW football leaders was £75 I think. The club paid. I'll do C licence soon. I'm doing no higher than C. One of the Dad's coaches at Chelsea (was at Cheltenham until recently) and he was pushing me to go higher but I havent got time. This Dad just watches by the way. Let's us get on with it. We're doing it right by all accounts!

Coaching a kids football team was a pretty awful experience for me because I hated dealing with the parents of our players and struggled not to call a lot of opposition parents ****s.
Exactly, I gave up doing that after two years for the very same reasons. Parents inevitably spoil the kids fun and often heard calls to break someone’s leg. ****ing unbelievable!
