Why do you hate Man Utd?

I think 'used to be a journalist' is the key part of that story. I'm not dismissing it though, maybe my opinion was wrong.

I obviously haven't got any proof of this happening but the guy seems pretty genuine and i've no reason to doubt him. Obviously Fergie has his good days and bad days just like everyone else

I don't hate them, I do get defensive when their fans have a go at us, though.

 

I don't if I really dislike them. I don't think about them. What I detest is when they play dirty and appear so arrogant about it. That away game we had with them in the autumn of 2004 didn't endear them to me. I respect SAF but I do not for a moment believe he is a nice person. All in all I don't care about them. I'm just amazed at some of the people who like them because they happen to be winning and are so mute otherwise.

 

I certainly do play football.

Hate's too strong a word.

I usually reserve that for religious bigots, terrorists, or salad

 

Point 1, this is the main reason i hate UTD, i've had to put up with it for years so im sure you could understand my bitterness there .

Point 3, Veron, Van Nistelrooy, Nani, Carrick, Rooney, Berbatov and thats just a few. You spent heavily on players and offerend larger wages than other clubs for years. To be honest i blame some of the current problems in EPL on Utd driving the prices up.

Point 4, Been twice once was alright the 2nd was terrible.

And there is my point, all of those players were bought between different seasons. Not in bulk, like Chelsea and City do. And Liverpool recently!!!

We earned the money season on season to top up our squad with top class players, everyone had the opportunity to tap into the sky money pot but we exploited it better than anyone. No money was handed to us by a billionaire and we have not once, ever, bought a title.

You can be as bitter as you like about your school friends but they do not represent anything like what United fans are like.




The reason why I hate Liverpool?

Mainly for the same reason you hate us, when I was a nipper you won everything. Sadly also whan I first started going to games and for years after your fans ALWAYS sang Munich 58. Kind of sticks in the mind. It didn't stop until you had your own tragedy. Water under the bridge now but that's the reason.

 

This is really ironic because you won the game through a Rooney dive.
