Tripper really does need to go. Too many times he gives the ball away in dangerous positions. KWP for me at RB.

You don't think that the number of injuries have anything to do with it? We have far more to cope with than any of the top teams but it's never mentioned. Any of them get two players injured and it's a crisis - and an excuse if they don't play well.

11 shots to 8 on target.
Far too open a game for both sides.
It could easily have been a 3-3.
With Mourinho in charge, Spurs would have equalised and gone on to win 3-1

When you don't strengthen a team, how do you expect to get better?

The only good thing to come from today is that it has to give a massive kick up the arse to both Poch, Levy and everyone else involved with squad additions to make us realise that we need new blood. We're likely gonna lose Sissoko for a while, Kane didn't look too good, we're running this squad into the ground and it's costing us.

Hopefully Poch can use the same secret potion he used on Sissoko

More like there is certain opposition he cannot be trusted with.
With the CM/DM injury plague, I would not be surprised if he
does not start in any CL game or PL game against the top 6 now.

It’s a real shame, but Trippier just hasn’t lifted his game and pushed on this season. He was dreadful first half, and one of his poor decisions/mistakes proved to be very costly.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we start to see more of KWP now.

There’s only been a few crap results this season, this being one of them. But we’re doing very well with all things considered.
However, today’s result was made much much worse than the others due to the injury to Sissoko, and potentially now Kane, too. A really bad day that goes beyond the scoreline,

I don’t see how Levy has any choice but to sign a midfielder in this window. We’re desperate.

Injuries can't be an excuse all the time...been hearing that as a back up for decades.

It all comes down to the same thing...Levy won't back his man...the squad gets run into the ground...don't blame injuries like we have a deep squad but it's the injuries that cost us. The injuries happen due to a lack of squad depth...not people like Nkoudou...who Poch has no interest in playing.

I'm convinced our chairman is reaching his glass ceiling once the stadium is up.

It's a continuation of the pro-Aurier/anti-Trippier stuff that's been going on for a month or two, where Tweetists are lionising Aurier as a complete full back and Trippier as a chancer - even though little over a year ago these blowhards were demanding the club cancel Aurier's contract after his sending off against West Scam

The fact that Trippier is directly responsible for us going 1-0 down to both Manc sides this season hasn't helped matters...

Don’t hold your breath. Be amazed if we sign anyone.

Again, Spurs are now at the level where the margins of error are thin.
Players keeping the error rates down becomes as important as
    producing the occasional worldy moments.

Don’t worry, after the summer window, I won’t be. As I’ve said, we’re doing very well with all things considered, but I just can’t see these results (mostly very good) being sustainable unless we genuinely strengthen. We’re now getting to the point where we’re playing Russian roulette. Long term and short term Injuries galore, and one of our best players leaving a gaping hole in our squad for upto 5 matches or so. It’s hard to see this ending well, as we approach the business end of the season.

That's the issue we have at right back: Aurier and Trippier both have errors in them, the only real difference is Aurier has the pace to potentially recover from his error - but that doesn't make Aurier a great fullback, that makes Aurier about the same as Walker and Rose during the AVB/Sherwood era

No it concerns me as well. If we don’t strengthen and fail to win anything, we’ll reach a point where certain players will realise the clubs ambitions don’t align with theirs. Eriksen has already reached that point, as has Toby

    This is very true.
Both have pros and cons. Personally I would say Aurier has more pros than Trippier, but KWP has been far more impressive that either of them put together, IMO. He may be young and inexperienced, but I don’t **** myself when he plays. His performances are beyond his years.

Well we didn`t deserve to lose that, one of those games when things just didn`t click, poor finishing, opposition keeper has a worldy etc. I thought we should have had a penalty first half and Pogba sent off second half, but that`s not going to happen with United and Mike Dean.

Funny how Spurs Fan Mike Dean (copyright ArsenalFanTV) failed to give us every opportunity to win the game, isn't it?

Been saying this since the start of the season.

This is/ was the year we had to do something otherwise all the hard work Levy and Poch have done in assembling a good team will come undone.
