terrible finishing tbh...not unlucky...a keeper is their to make saves. Eriksen was awful throughout, Trippier was poor in first half but the problem was our finishing...utter rubbish IMHO
Always falling short when it matters most The chairman has a master plan I keep on forgetting Goodnight
We created enough chances to have won. Don't expect to hear that from the pundits though. One of those games, even a misshit might have gone in there were enough shots on target. I wonder if this is the most shots on target without scoring?
So united have come up against a “decent” side now, and won. They are the ones to watch now. This will give them so much belief.
Don't get **** all for shots on goal...no small crumbs from me Trippier needs to **** off outoof here and be replaced by a traffic cone till Aurier is back
Once again we lose when it matters. Centre midfield has been an issue for months if not years and still we don’t sign a proper midfielder. Poch must be looking at Utd and thinking what he could do with a proper budget instead of penny pinching.
Looks like it. Trainer was on at full time whistle. Shaking his head sat on the floor. Limped off. Does not look good.
Sorry Spurf but it's no coincidence anymore that we always hit the same ceiling of achievement. It's unfair on Poch and the players to be expected to rise to every challenge without help from the chairman
As good in the 2nd half as we were bad in the 1st , Poch must have given Tripps a good going over at half time
Well that was incredibly frustrating. Game panned out as I think we all thought it would, open and fast paced. We didn't finish well enough and De Gea was not in the mood to give us any favours. I don't think we've really learnt anything from it that we didn't already know - we're light in midfield and Trippier isn't up to much this season. United had the week off and clearly spent a lot of time working on this game and it showed as well. Hopefully Sissoko isn't too bad and we can get Dier back for Fulham and beyond. And it goes without saying that especially with Son off to international duty, we all need to have fingers crossed for Kane. Encouraging second half though and the week before the next game will do the lads some good, they need it. I just hope everyone can keep focus for the rest of the season what with all the distractions around us right now. I'm generally in favour of how we are run as a club but it does stick in the gut a bit that Levy and co. will view it as a magnificent success if we make top 4 with no spending on transfers. While it is a worthy achievement we could be so much more if he opened the chequebook in the summer in a meaningful way. Anything done this month is not going to have an impact this season IMO.
