Warnock is brilliant at getting clubs promoted but has an awful record once he's there. I'm a bit surprised Cardiff kept him tbh. Would have been better giving him a massive thank you cheque.
Ashley has treated Newcastle like any other business he's tried to sneak control of and asset strip. See his latest attempt with Debenhams. "Here's my generous offer of an interest free loan to help you out now you're in trouble, ignore the small print that says I get control of the entire company bypassing shareholder regulations if you miss a payment". TBH I think Newcastle isn't that bad because it's only a football club he's ruining, whereas in his other businesses he's ruining peoples' lives. I'm a #neutral BTW
What are people’s predictions for today’s games then ? Reckon they are hard to call myself. You’d fancy Everton at home, but Bournemouth can be a tricky outfit going for 1-1. Then Spuds v Utd. Should be a belter. Utd will need De Gayer to have another one of his superman games to keep Son, Eriksen and Kane out. But ole has got them scoring goals again so they’ve got enough to score a couple against the spuds too. Spud win would be better for Arsenal in terms of preventing Utd catching up with us, but Hell would have to freeze over and the devil himself ski into town before I’d ever cheer on the slum dwellers. Also we’ve got Chelsea and City away coming up so we’re gonna be below them soon anyway. So reluctantly I’ll be supporting Utd this afternoon. Plus it will be better for the Bantz on here and @Tel gets to choose @Hoddle Is A God ’s avatar.
I’m thinking 3-2 spurs. Debating going to the boozer to watch it. Though have been pissed the last 3 days so may not and have a stinking cold again.
I know how you feel, as I feel the same when Morata plays. Considering we've played with 10 men for a chunk of the season, we've been amazing.
The Puel who got three points at Stamford Bridge and three at home to City, in consecutive games. Failing to beat 10 man Saints is unforgivable, apparently. Despite the fact that Saints under Hassenhuttl would give anyone a game right now. Leicester should bear in mind that until the appointment of Ralph Hassenhuttl, Saints have been sinking like a stone since sacking, er...Claude Puel.
Gonna be a tough game for us. Utd have some very good players and Ole has got them playing. So completely different to the OT game. We’ve lost 5 games this season, 3 of those have been at ‘home’ - Wembley. May even be our first draw of the season....
