He could probably be blamed for putting the wrong people in place the first time you got relegated. The second time, no way. £80-90m spent that season and he brought in a top manager at the end to sort the mess out and get you straight back in the PL. This idea that he is robbing your club is ridiculous, you could have been the Pompey/Blackpool if he was as bad as you lot make him out to be.
he also said , in the championship season that ashley put in 50 million of his own money ,to get them back up again. Well that is wrong. we sold sissoko for 30 mil ,wijnaldum for 25 mil , townsend for 14 mil and others . the money ,was off the club not him.
This would be a third relegation ,under ashley . do not think ,any fans would be happy with that . But , ferdinand seems to think it is ok .
I meant the season before, you lot forked out £90m or something and got relegated, so where’s the incentive for him to spend money again, given he wants to sell up anyway? There’s no chance you got that full £69m up front by the way.
You don’t get 75k each week, we do. Our owners will have taken £1bn out of the club before they sell it for £4-5bn at some point. Seems to me like you lot think your 50k attendances should get you CL football or something, it’s a weird argument.
its ,still not bad for a team ,that will prob get relegated . because of its ,owner that just wants to bleed the fook out the club . it has been just lies with this bloke.
It’s not limited to here, the whole region seem to think they’d have catapulted themselves into the big 6 spots without him holding them back or something. Didn’t they chase Bobby Robson away from the club cos he didn’t win them the league? What do they actually want?
Not bad at all but the two don’t go hand in hand. If crowd size brought success we’d just up our capacity to 120,000 and we’d fill it every game.
