Longstaff was spot on but special mention for Rondon. Best link up play I've seen from him this season. Ritchie's corner at the end was a bit cowardly, especially when he had already assisted. I'm going to believe he thought he'd been found out and this was plan B. Mistake for first goal appeared to be Clark but seemed to be confusion on the back line playing offside or not. Still think Schaar would have committed a similar mistake but recovered better. We wouldn't have scored otherwise though. Perez had a couple of easy chances but laboured well. Hayden underrated, Yedlin should be an RM. Ritchie effectively left-back? All in all we did well. Verdict- shock horror, our current available strikeforce collectively cost 5 million and we can't finish chances. I expect us to miss a few chances at Cardiff and the crowd to get on the players back before we tail off into a dissapointing result. No January transfers and we're down this season unless we see a surprising bit of form from Muto, when he returns, and no more injuries to Dummett.
Your right. The Fulham game was one of the worst games I've seen in 15 years..diabolical... Get at Cardiff from the off no messing .
The Cardiff game is huge, we lost that and we could be 9/10 points adrift of safety come mid February with 10 games to make it up and still have some decent teams to play in those last 10 as well. Sack off Blackburn Tuesday, Reserve squad completely don't even take the starting XI on the bench - I mean can we even afford to play Longstaff or Hayden if Diame is on the cusp of breaking down, Shelvey struggling still and Ki away? We are literally an injury away from being relegated apart from at CB but if Dubruvka, a CM or Rondon gets injured in the next few weeks we could be down before we know whats happening.
