This would have all gone away in a week if he’d said nothing. He’s just given the media more ammunition
He won't. He took great pains to say he did this without the clubs permission (to prevent the club form being sanctioned - though for what as no rules were broken) and I'm certain there is a private conversation with Bielsa before the 'public statement' from the club. All this is just deflecting form Lampard's shortcomings in comparison to the maestro.
Gary Neville ✔@GNev2 Surely sending spies daily to climb fences / hide in bathrooms with windows overlooking the training pitch to watch England sessions and disclosing your own countries team and tactics would be worse . No ? please log in to view this image Henry Winter ✔@henrywinter Marcelo Bielsa is a great coach, with many disciples amongst modern managers, but sending spies to opposition training shows a complete lack of respect for his peers. LMA needs to respond to this, let alone FA and EFL. Gary Neville ✔@GNev2 I can’t agree with it but I admire him for fronting up and also stating he’s always done it . In Spain for example it’s quite normal. Now onto my question? Henry Winter ✔@henrywinter Replying to @GNev2 Morning Gary, do you agree with what Bielsa did?
Hope that’s right. If he was involved prior to the statement it will be fine. Just know he’s not one to lose face so if the statement went out without him involved there could have been a problem.
Very very quiet on the transfer front and you can tell journos are struggling as most stuff about Leeds is speculation and made up. So I reckon we are pretty good at this keep it in-house routine as not many leaks. I guess we will have more news this week. New keeper early doors and hopefully another couple Just realised that we will probably be moving from our existing location on this forum soon. Since the forum started we have been inside Championship but looks like we will be moving to our new home Premiership. So wallies will have to keep looking into the Prem forum to speak to us
