Nope. It’s subject to a bit of spin. It’s true that during a very successful period when United were winning the PL most years and playing most of their football in the opposition half at OT that very few penalties were conceded. But during that spell when supposedly no penalties were conceded, the reality was that three were and all were missed. It’s no coincidence that since we’ve got ****ter and spent much more time defending we’ve conceded more penalties. As I said earlier, Liverpool got three in one game. It’s also funny that Liverpool who have never won the PL have been awarded the most penalties. I appreciate that the facts **** with the Liverpool narrative that United only won titles because referees helped them.
